Thank your for your interest in a custom painting! I’m excited to collaborate with you on a piece that blends both our artistic vision and stories together to create a one-of-a-kind artwork.

How commissions work

  • Let's start with what inspires you:

    • Love one of my existing paintings but need a different size?

    • Have a specific color palette in mind for your space?

    • Inspired by a particular subject or mood?

    For example, I’ve been asked to create:

    • Murals of flowers and trees for the walls of a client’s house

    • A painting in my style, fitting a client’s dining room and using their favorite color (orange)

    • Triptych for a baby’s room, based on objects the parents found meaningful

    Feel free to share images of my work that resonate with you, photos of your space, or even works by other artists that capture elements you admire. While I'll always create in my own artistic voice, seeing your inspirations helps me understand your vision.

  • Once I understand what you're looking for, we'll talk about:

    • Canvas size and orientation (portrait or landscape)

    • Color palette preferences

    • Subject matter and composition

    • Timeline and budget

  • I'll keep you updated throughout the creative journey:

    • Progress photos as your painting develops

    • Final approval before shipping

    A typical timeline would be 6-8 weeks from our initial inspiration discussion until delivery of the painting.

  • I'm located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Local pickup and delivery is available for clients in the area. For those further away, shipping costs will be calculated based on your location.

    We can also discuss framing options to ensure your new painting arrives ready to hang and complement your space perfectly.

Pricing

My commission pricing is straightforward, based on square inches. I’ll share some example price points:

  • 24” x 24”: $1300

  • 48” x 48”: $4400

  • 64” x 64”: $6400

A 50% deposit secures your spot in my commission schedule, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

FAQs

How long does a commission take?

Most paintings are completed within 6-8 weeks, depending on size and complexity.

If shipping, there’s an additional ~ 2 month delay to allow the oil to dry, and varnish to be applied. If local and you’d like the painting sooner, I can arrange a varnish date at our convenience.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Shipping costs will be calculated based on your location.

Can I request changes during the process?

Absolutely. I'll share progress photos and welcome your feedback.
